Paintings 2025

This group was created in the second half of 2024, into the present. They differ from my earlier work in many ways. Upon my return from a short trip, I decided dive back into painting and have fun with it, encouraged by those wise words from British painter Louise Fletcher. I would not measure myself against others, former influences. No judgement on myself.
I switched from oils to acrylics and found the quick drying time freeing, as I worked with new tools, new techniques and different sized canvases.
It's still a process of discovery and surprises, but I enjoy painting so much more.
